WSOC | Gaels 2025 Schedule Announced, Features East Coast Trip to Navy and Goergetown

MORAGA, Calif. - After matching their program record with 15 points in conference play last season, Saint Mary's will open up their 2025 fall campaign with a home contest against Cal State Northridge on August 14th. The Gaels non-conference schedule features four matches at Saint Mary's Stadium and four on the road including their first ever road trip to Navy and Georgetown the weekend of September 11th.
WCC action will start on Wednesday, September 24th with a home contest against Gonzaga which will represent their last conference match with the Zags as a member of the WCC. Additional home games during the conference slate include Washington State, Portland, Pacific and the reigning 2024 conference champs in Santa Clara.
Over the last two seasons, head coach Theresa Romagnolo has accumulated 17 wins which is the largest win total over a two-year span since 2001 and 2002, when former head coach Paul Ratcliffe won 24 games for the Gaels. The Gaels will look to crack the top three in the conference standings for the first time since 2003 as the WCC continues to rise with eight teams separated by just six points in 2024. The conference also had multiple NCAA bids for the 33rd consecutive season with Santa Clara and Pepperdine earning trips to the NCAA Tournament.
