SAN BRUNO, Calif. — For the second time in three weeks, Sadie White has been named the West Coast Conference Setter of the Week. White continued to "quarterback" the Gaels' offense in a 2-0 week with wins over Seattle U and Portland. White is the first ever Saint Mary's setter to win this award twice in the same year since the awards inception in 2025.
Since taking on starting setting duties for the Gaels a month ago, Sadie White has led the team to a 6-2 record, including a perfect 2-0 this week against Seattle U and Portland. Not only did White average over 11 assists per set this week, but added 22 digs, two aces, six blocks and five kills. Against Portland, White went for 40 assists and 13 digs, good for her fifth double-double of the year.
White will look to keep the Gaels rolling back on the road this week against San Francisco and Santa Clara.
