MWP | Saint Mary’s Men’s Water Polo Welcomes Newest Signee: Rocco Di Rosa

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's water polo added its fourth Italian signee, Rocco Di Rosa, Head Coach James Lathrop announced on Wednesday.
As a center defender, Di Rosa has been successful throughout his athletic career. Currently, his club team, Roma Vis Nova, is competing in the 2025-26 Serie A1Championship. During the 2024-25 season, Di Rosa's team placed third at the under-18 National Championship. The season prior, his teams placed first at the under-16 National Championships and seventh at the under-18 National Championships. While competing in the 2022-23 season, Di Rosa and his team placed first at the national "Trofeo delle Regioni" competition and third at the under-16 National Championships. In the 2021-22 season, his under-14 team placed third at the Regional Championships.
With his international success and experience, Di Rosa will look to be an early contributor for the Gaels upcoming inaugural season.
