MWP | The Gaels Welcome Stryder Stelck As Men’s Water Polo’s Most Recent Addition

MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary's men's water polo team has added its newest student-athlete to the program, attacker Stryder Stelck.
Stelck joins the Gaels from Santa Cruz, after competing for Soquel High School. While there, he competed for all four years on varsity and was named to the All-Santa Cruz Athletic League first team in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Stelck also was recognized to the All-CIF Central Coast Section first team in 2025.
During his senior year, Stelck led his team with 81 goals scored and ranked second with 27 assists. The incoming Gael also ranked 15th in goals scored in the Central Coast Section.
Stelck will look to be an early contributor when Saint Mary's kicks off its inaugural season in the fall of 2026.
