MWP | Utility Player Ferran de Witt Joins the Saint Mary’s Men’s Water Polo Roster Ahead of Inaugural Season

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's water polo has welcomed its most recent addition with the signing of freshman Ferran de Witt.
A utility player, de Witt spent the past four years competing on the varsity water polo team at Los Altos High School. Just last season, de Witt earned first-team All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League and second-team All-Central Coast Section, while being named his team's most valuable player. During both his junior and sophomore year, he earned Central Coast Section honorable mention recognition, while also earning first-team all Santa Clara Valley Athletic League in 2023. Over his high school career, de Witt recorded 150 goals, 120 assists, 184 steals, 80 ejections drawn, and 31 shot blocks.
de Witt will look to help lead the growing Gaels team to success in their upcoming inaugural season.
