

WWP | Gaels Continue to Build Roster With Signing of Megan Butler

MORAGA, Calif. — As just announced, Saint Mary's and head coach Stephen Loomis have added their latest signing for the women's water polo program, utility player Megan Butler.
Butler joins the Gaels from Deer Park, Texas. While attending Deer Park High School, the incoming Gael played varsity all four years, recording 125 goals, 72 assists, and 96 steals over her career.
During her senior season, Butler ranked 23rd nationally in assists, tallying 64. She was named Offensive MVP and was recently selected to compete in the TISCA Water Polo All-Star Game.
Butler becomes another key addition to the growing Saint Mary's women's water polo team, as the Gaels continue to prepare for the first season in program history.
