MORAGA, Calif. — The future of the Saint Mary's men's water polo program continues to take shape with the most recent addition of Cape Town, South Africa native and transfer center forward Noah Bigara.
After two years at Whittier College, Bigara joins the Gaels ahead of the inaugural season and brings experience competing at the collegiate level. During his time there, he recorded 126 goals, 24 assists, and drew 118 exclusions. Bigara ranked fourth in goal scoring in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference following his sophomore season with 75 on the season. In 2024, he received SCIAC DIII Newcomer of the Year and Second-Team All-Conference.
As he joins the Gaels, Bigara will reunite fellow Cape Town native and former Whittier teammate Ethan Klerck as they will look to use their collegiate experience and success to make an immediate impact during the program's inaugural season.
