EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Congratulations to Saint Mary's Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations Ryan Reggiani on being recognized by Silver Waves Media as one of the Top-100 Rising ADs / Future ADs. Those included in this list are considered to be the top rising Athletic Directors and future leaders shaping the next generation of youth sports across America. Through vision, leadership, innovation, and a commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for athletes and families, these individuals are making a lasting impact in their communities and beyond. From established organizations to emerging programs, this recognition highlights those helping define the future of athletics and setting the standard for what comes next.
Reggiani is coming up on a decade at Saint Mary's now in his second stint at the school, after serving as the Gaels Director of Sports Information from 2003-2006. He returned to Moraga in 2016 as the Senior Associate AD for External Relations after stops at the University of Hawai'i, Fresno State and the University of San Diego, and was promoted to Deputy Athletic Director in 2019. Under Reggiani's leadership, the Saint Mary's External Operations team has seen immense growth in all facets, including communications, marketing, social media and live broadcast, as Saint Mary's continues to prove to outperform its mid-major status. He is one of six seven WCC administrators to be named to the list.
