MWP | Gaels Add Transfer Utility Player Jacob Carlson to 2026 Roster

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's water polo program welcomes the most recent addition to the roster, La Verne native and utility player Jacob Carlson.
Carlson joins the Gaels after most recently competing for Mt. San Antonio College in 2025 following a season at Occidental College. While at Mt. SAC, Carslon ranked second on his team with 66 goals and led the Mounties with 71 steals. Following that season, he earned Second Team All-Southern California honors. While competing at Occidental in the 2024 season, Carlson tallied 25 goals, 11 assists, and 28 steals.
Prior to his collegiate career, Carlson played four years of varsity water polo at Bonita High School. He helped his team to win the 2024 CIF Division 4 Championships and then the team went on to secure the program's first CIF DIII State Championship title.
Carlson brings experience and proven success to Moraga as the Gaels continue to build for the upcoming inaugural season.
