MGOLF | Saint Mary’s Announces 2026-27 Golf Schedule

MORAGA, Calif. - After making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2019, the Saint Mary's golf team is back and ready for its 2026-27 campaign with the announcement of its upcoming schedule on Friday.
Head coach Scott Hardy and the Gaels will get the year underway at the Island Resort Intercollegiate in Michigan starting on Labor Day weekend. This will be the fourth consecutive year Saint Mary's has opened its season at the event hosted by South Dakota State and the Gaels have finished inside the top-five in each of the previous three seasons. Saint Mary's will compete in four additional fall events following the Island Resort Intercollegiate including new additions from the 2025 fall schedule with the CDA National Reserve Invitational (Eastern Washington) on September 21 and the Visit Stockton Invitational (Pacific) starting on October 12.
Highlighting the fall campaign is the Gaels' return to Bayonet Golf Course as hosts of the Saint Mary's Invitational starting on October 19. This will be the third consecutive year Saint Mary's has hosted an event at Bayonet with the Gaels earning a second place finish in last year's edition in 2025. The fall will round out with a return to The Preserve Golf Club Collegiate hosted by Cal Poly starting on October 26.
The spring season will feature eight events including the West Coast Conference Championship which will be held at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course in North Plains, Oregon starting on April 30. Prior to postseason golf Saint Mary's will return to six of its seven scheduled events that they competed in during the 2026 spring season with the lone new addition taking place in Washington at the Chambers Bay Invitational starting on April 19.
