

MGOLF | Saint Mary’s Earns President’s Special Recognition for PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. - The Saint Mary's men's golf team was one of 88 Division I programs to earn President's Special Recognition for the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award following the conclusion of the 2025-26 academic year.
The Gaels were one of two West Coast Conference programs to earn the President's Special Recognition status for their team academic award, with the other being Gonzaga. Saint Mary's qualified for the special distinction with a 3.5+ GPA for the 2025-26 academic year. Of the 88 teams on the President's Special Recognition list, Saint Mary's was one of twenty to also make an NCAA Regional in 2026, highlighting its success on the course and in the classroom.
