AS A FIFTH YEAR SENIOR (2020-21): Played in all 11 team events and the NCAA Tournament as an individual … named First Team All-WCC for second time in his career and WCC All-Academic Team for the fourth time … selected to PING All-Region Team for the West Region … led the team with a 71.28 stroke average and 25 of his 36 rounds were par or better … had two wins and four total top-10 finishes … had arguably the greatest individual performance by an SMC golfer by tying for first at The Goodwin in a 146-man field … shot 63-69-68 at the event to finish 10-under … also grabbed a win at the La Purisima College Invite with round scores of 69-72-68 (7-under) … was Saint Mary’s top finisher at four events and second best in four more … competed at the NCAA Regionals in Albuquerque as an individual and posted scores of 72-68-72 to finish t-15th out of 75 golfers … finished his career with a 72.28 stroke average across 145 rounds.

AS A SENIOR (2019-20): Posted 72.10 stroke average in seven tournaments …  named to WCC All-Academic Team for third straight season … chosen to the All-WCC Preseason Team during the fall ... best finish of the season came at Arizona Intercollegiate where he finished t-9th at 2-under … finished t-12th in the Alister Mackenzie Invitational and shot a 65 in the first round … participated in the Saint Mary’s Tournament and earned a t-16th finish at 2-under … had a top-25 finish at the Husky Invitational … 11 rounds of par or better including six in a row.

AS A JUNIOR (2018-19): Played in all 13 events and primarily as the team’s No. 1… averaged a team-best 71.74 strokes per round… one of only three players in the conference to be named All-WCC First Team and to the All-Academic Team… tied for first at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic with a score of 6-under… followed that up with a third place finish at the Cougar Classic in Salt Lake City… posted rounds of 70-71-70 at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate to tie for 12th and help SMC finish sixth… finished the season with a team-high and personal-best 21 rounds at or under par… also posted team’s best result at The Goodwin at 5-over.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Played in 32 out of 35 possible rounds so far... 11 rounds of par or better in his 11 tournament appearances... Tied for third best stroke average on the team at 73.28... Competed in all five tournaments during the fall season... Three top-15 finishes came at Inverness, Nick Watney and Alister Mackenzie Invitational... Shot an opening round 65 at the Alister Mackenzie for the 5-under par finish... Has six rounds in the 60s...Helped the Gaels finish fourth out of 18 at the Arizona Intercollegiate by tying for 34th...Finished t-21st at the Duck Invitational after shooting a 69 during the final round...Finished in the top half of the leaderboard at The Goodwin.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): Has played in five tournaments his first year… Currently holds 74.13 stroke average… Finished t-23rd at PING Cougar Classic with rounds 72-73-72 for a 1-over finish… Started his Saint Mary's career with a round score of 74 at the Inverness Intercollegiate .... Finished in the top 20 at the Saint Mary's Invitational with round scores of 72-78-72 ... posted back-to-back rounds of 73 at the Nick Watney Invitational in Fresno, California.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: A 2016 graduate of Clovis North High School … a two-year varsity letterwinner … helped lead prep team to league and sectional titles as a senior … a 2-time all Tri-River Athletic Conference selection … earned medalist honors at the 2016 Central Section North Area tournament … finished as runner-up at 2016 Monterey City Amateur … claimed medalist honors at the 2016 Fresno City Junior Championships after finishing as runner-up in 2015 … member of the victorious 2015 NCGA Amateur Cup team that competed against the NCPGA Professional team in a Ryder Cup style competition … runner-up at 2015 NCGA Junior Championships with an even par over 54 holes at Spyglass Hill … lost a sudden death playoff on the ninth hole at the 2015 NCGA Valley Amateur Championships … also played club and high school soccer and was team's offensive player of the year as a sophomore … son of David and Jamy Hathcoat … has two siblings, Austin and Miranda.
