Moraga, CA - A limited number of tickets are still available for the 27th Annual Car Drawing Gala presented by Stead Motors, which will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2004 in the Soda Center from 2-4:00 pm. All funds generated from the Car Drawing Gala will directly contribute to the growing success of the Saint Mary's College Gael Athletic Scholarship Fund and SMC student-athletes.
The Grand prize is a 2004 Jeep Liberty, courtesy of Stead Motors, or 20,000 dollars cash. Other prizes include 1,000 dollars cash, and 500 dollars cash. There will be both silent and live auctions - some of the items up for bid include a dinner for eight hosted by Saint Mary's College President Brother Craig Franz, FSC, a trip with the men's basketball team to USC next year (airfare, hotel, and game tickets), a foursome of golf at the Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista, two nights stay at the Light House Lodge and Suites in Pacific Grove, CA, and a private parking spot for all men's basketball games during the 2004-05 season.
Tickets can be purchased for $150 each by calling the Special Events Office at (925) 631-4803. Participants need not be present to win.
