March 26, 2002

Moraga, CA - Saint Mary's College today announced the hiring of Dianna Rowley as its new cheerleading coach. In addition to working with the cheerleading team, Rowley will also help choreograph routines for the dance team and work with the mascot.

"We're extremely excited to have someone of Dianna's experience join our staff to work with the cheerleaders and spirit teams," commented Marty Storti, Assistant Director of Athletics for Recreational Sports. "She brings a wealth of professional experience to her new position and we're looking forward to taking our spirit teams to the next level."

Rowley brings an impressive resume to the Moraga campus as a performer, instructor, and choreographer. She danced for the NBA's Indiana Pacemates from 1995-2000 and for the IHL's Cleveland Lumberjacks in 1992. In addition, she has performed at numerous promotions and events such as television shows, grand openings, and special events.

Rowley has been a choreographer for the United Spirit Association (USA) for the past two years and also choreographed routines for the NBA, WNBA, ESPN Miss Fitness America, and John Carroll University. She has also instructed dance at various clubs, dance studios, and camps across the country.
