Four Gaels Named to Spring All-Academic Team

Moraga, CA - Saint Mary's had four student-athletes named to the 2004 Spring All-Academic team announced by the West Coast Conference. Joe Lanza (Men's Golf), Rafael Lopez (Men's Tennis), Kate Harden (Women's Tennis), and Breanne Jackson (Women's Rowing) were all selected to the team.
Lanza, a junior from Bainbridge Island, WA, had a 3.56 GPA as an economics major. Lanza is also coming off a 13th place finish at the NCAA Western Regional. Lopez, a senior from Alicante, Spain, had a 3.61 GPA as an art major.
Harden, a sophomore from Acampo, CA, had a 3.49 GPA as a psychology major, and Jackson, a senior from Bass Lake, CA, had a 3.67 GPA as an environmental studies major.
The West Coast Conference selects an all-academic squad for each of the participating sponsored sports at the completion of each athletic season.
