The 2003 West Coast Conference Spring All-Academic teams honor some of the league's finest examples of the consummate scholar-athlete. To be considered, a student-athlete must earn at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials, and have sophomore athletic and academic standing.
Burgemeister garnered his third selection on the all-academic team after finishing his career at SMC with a 3.83 GPA in Business. Burgemeister was also a First Team All-WCC selection in singles and an Honorable Mention All-WCC selection in doubles following the 2003 season. Filip Sarovic garnered his first selection on the all-academic team after finishing his career with a 3.30 in Business Administration. On the women's tennis side, Fillol garnered her second straight WCC All-Academic selection and Verrier is awarded with her first such award. Fillol finished her days at Saint Mary's with a 3.34 GPA in Psychology and Verrier maintains a 3.25 GPA in Economics.

Joe Lanza rounds out this year's list of Saint Mary's student athletes on the WCC All-Academic Team.
