Moraga, CA - The Saint Mary's College Special Events Office today announced that the 24th Annual Northern California Gael Classic Invitational Golf Tournament is completely sold out. The event will be held on Monday, September 8 at Discovery Bay Country Club and all proceeds benefit the Gael Athletic Scholarship Fund (GASF). Tickets for the 6th Annual Homecoming Drawing for the GASF are currently on sale. This year's grand prize is a 10-day Hawaiian Islands cruise for two, including roundtrip airfare.
A significant portion of the proceeds is raised through the silent and live auctions. There are 20 live auction items available, including guest coaching opportunities with the SMC football and men's basketball teams, a round of golf for four at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, and various memorabilia of Barry Bonds, Tiger Woods, the San Jose Sharks, Payne Stewart, Dale Earnhardt, Lance Armstrong, Wayne Gretzky, and the Rat Pack. Tickets for the 6th Annual Homecoming Drawing for the GASF are currently on sale. This year's grand prize is a 10-day Hawaiian Islands cruise for two, including roundtrip airfare. The cruise will visit five different spots on four major islands on the spectacular Norwegian Star. Other prizes include $250-$1,000 cash.
