Scott joins the athletic training staff in the fall of 2003 as the Head Athletic Trainer. For the past three years, Scott has served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Gaels. In his new role, Scott will provide primary sport coverage for the Football and Women?s Basketball programs, while supervising all aspects of the Athletic Training function. In addition, Scott will be responsible for providing program leadership and establishing future goals, in order to optimize the growth and maturation of an important student service.
Prior to becoming the Head Athletic Trainer, Scott became involved with several aspects of the Athletic Training program at Saint Mary?s College. He served as the secondary insurance coordinator and assisted in the management of all fiscal resources. Additionally, Scott continues to work as a liaison with the Student Health and Wellness Center and other campus affiliations as a member of the Eating Disorder Management Team (EDMT). He has also worked in an outpatient physical therapy clinic.
During Scott?s first two years at Saint Mary?s, Scott earned a Master of Arts degree in Athletic Administration. Prior to his arrival at Saint Mary?s in 2000, Scott served as a staff Athletic Trainer at Washington State University after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.
Scott and his wife, Jaime, currently reside in Dublin.
