Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE (2024-25): Joined the Gaels starting backcourt as a sophomore, seeing time at both point and shooting guard…Started all 35 games in his second season in Moraga…Began his season by scoring a career-high 14 points in the season opener vs Towson (Nov. 4), a mark he would surpass twice more with 15 points vs USC (Nov. 28), and 19 a day later vs Arizona State (Nov. 29)...Twice would dish out a career-best eight assists against Cal Poly (Nov. 23) and Pepperdine (Jan. 2)…Had 12 multi-assist, no turnover games, leading to his stellar 3.3 assists to turnover ratio…Announced himself on the national stage in the Gaels first round NCAA Tournament matchup with Vanderbilt (Mar. 21), scoring 13 second half points and blocking three shots in the Gaels come from behind victory over the Commodores.
AS A FRESHMAN (2023-24):Â The lone true freshman to see action for the Gaels in 2023-24...Appeared in 28 games in his first season in Moraga...Scored his first collegiate basket in the season opener vs Stanislaus State (Nov. 6)...Assisted on Mitchell Saxen's game winning bucket in double overtime against UNLV in the Jerry Colangelo Classic (Dec. 16)...Went for a career-high five points and five rebounds in just six minutes of play against Pacific (Jan. 25)...Dished out a career-best four assists against Pepperdine (Feb. 15).
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Graduate of Compass Prep in Chandler, Arizona…Started all four years at point guard during his prep career and led the league in assists each of those four years…Made back-to-back trips to the Geico High School National Championship…Helped MoKan Elite to the 2022 EYBL Peach Jam Title…Listed as a four-star recruit by both ESPN and 24/7 Sports…Ranked the fifth best prep player out of the state of Arizona, the 15th best prep point guard in the high school class of 2023, and the 94th overall ranked recruit in the high school class of 2023 by 24/7 Sports…Ranked the top prep player from Utah and the 23rd best point guard in the class of 2023 by ESPN…Chose Saint Mary’s over Cal Poly, Oregon State, San Francisco, Stanford, Utah, Utah State, Washington State and Weber State…Plans to study business and sports management while at Saint Mary’s and to play professional basketball after college.
