CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
AS A JUNIOR (2024): Spent time as a pinch hitter and pinch runner, appearing in 13 games off the bench...Went 2-for-6 at the plate, and scored a pair of runs...First hit of the season was her first career triple against UC Davis on 4/4...Logged a pinch hit RBI single against Santa Clara on 4/27.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023): Made 26 appearances and 17 starts during her second season as a Gael...hit her first collegiate home run in her first game of the season in Hawaii, an inside-the-park home run...began the season with five hits in the first three games of the Hawaii Paradise Classic...set a career-best with a .300 on-base percentage.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022): Appeared in 38 games as a true freshman, the most on the team, and made 30 starts...finished the season with a .232 batting average, with 19 hits in 82 at bats...recorded three doubles and six runs batted in...drove in runs on her first three collegiate hits, spanning from February 12-13...recorded a walk-off single for the Gaels in a win against San Jose State on February 13...recorded her first double as part of her first multi-hit performance of the season on February 19 against Sacramento State.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Graduate of Rocklin High School...also made varsity on the soccer team as a goalkeeper...started at second base for her softball team during her sophomore season and helped them reach the playoffs while batting .353 and slugging .529...selected to the SFL All-League First Team and named an honorable mention by the Sacramento Bee for the All-Metro Team...played club ball for the California Breeze who took second at the USA Softball Gold Nationals 16U Championship in Oklahoma...the Breeze are one of the top club teams in the country and were ranked No. 10 nationally in 2019. Kirchner was also recruited by UC Davis and San Jose State...plans to study allied health sciences at SMC and would like to become a nurse after graduating.
