Andrew Shebloski joined the Saint Mary’s baseball staff in 2025 as an assistant coach after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant at Willamette University. Shebloski returns to Moraga after being a member of the baseball program as a student-athlete from 2016-2020.
During his tenure as a player, Shebloski played in 68 games, recorded 23 hits and ten RBI’s primarily coming off the bench and playing in all three spots in the outfield. He was often known as a pinch hit specialist for the Gaels as he finished with a .310 career batting average in pinch hit situations. He was a part of two postseason appearances for Saint Mary’s, both in the WCC Tournament in 2017 and 2019. Shebloski graduated with a Bachelors in Communications and an emphasis in Video Production.
He continued his education and playing career at Academy of Art as a graduate transfer for the 2021 season. Shebloski took advantage of his opportunity with the Urban Knights and hit .311 for the season in 35 starts. He also recorded 42 hits, scored 29 runs, led the team with 18 walks out of the leadoff spot and was named to the All-PacWest Third Team. Shebloski finished his last year in the grad program as the team’s Graduate Assistant for the 2022 season before graduating with a Masters in Communications and Media Technology.
He continued his coaching career as the hitting coach for the Menlo Park Rangers later that summer before joining the staff at Willamette University in Oregon for the 2023 season. During his two seasons on staff, the Bearcats combined for 54 wins and an NCAA Regional appearance in 2024 after winning the NWC Tournament. Shebloski helped manage the team’s outfielders and was a main factor in the team’s offensive training and preparation on a game-to-game basis including spray chart analysis and developing scouting reports. As a team, Willamette led the conference in every major offensive category including batting average (.296), slugging percentage (.457) and home runs (49).
Shebloski originally grew up in San Diego and attended Madison High School in Kearny Mesa.
