AS A SENIOR (2024-25): Did not compete in an event for the Gaels.

AS A JUNIOR (2023-24): Competed in 11 of the team's 13 tournaments on the year and finished with a 72.7 scoring average in 34 total rounds... Recorded three top-10 finishes and placed a season best 4th at the Nick Watney Invitational hosted by Fresno State... At the Nick Watney Invitational, Hoey competed as an individual and was the team's second best finisher in a tie for 4th place at 11-under-par... Hoey recorded back-to-back rounds of 4-under-par to finish the tournament, Saint Mary's went on to win the team title by four strokes.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23): Participated in all 13 tournaments for the Gaels and averaged 73.08 strokes per tournament...
Finished tied for 11th at the Ping Cougar Classic for his top finish of the season, where he shot 7-under par in the third round... That 7-under par (65) was the lowest score posted in a tournament for the Gaels all season... Finished tied for 12th at the USF Intercollegiate at 214 strokes... Had a strong finish at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate shooting 5-under par in round two and 3-under in round three to finish tied for 14th of 83 golfers at 211 strokes.

AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22): Had a very successful debut season as a college athlete competing in 10 tournaments and
averaging an 73.1 strokes per tournament... Finished second at the Saint Mary's Invitational out of 104 golfers, finishing 8-under par... Came in a tie for sixth at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, finishing at 215 strokes on the par-71 course.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Played four years of varsity golf, participating in two state championships in first two years at De La Salle. Runner Up at AJGA Se Ri Pak Open Championship shooting 5-under... Runner Up at AJGA DANA Inc. Open shooting.
