PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S
Klerck spent the first two years of his collegiate career at Whittier College as a captain of the team. He recorded 81 goals and 50 assists over his time with the Poets. For both the 2024 and 2025 season, Klerck was the fourth leading goal scorer on the team.
Klerck attended Rondebosch's Boys High School where he played three years of both water polo and rugby. Klerck also spent time as the South African under-17 national team captain.
