AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2024): Appeared in 17 games and made 17 starts while recording 1,509 minutes of action... Plachy was the team's primary goalkeeper on the season after redshirting in 2023... Allowed 21 goals while racking up a team high 56 saves... Had a 6-7-4 record in goal and recorded a season high six saves on three different occasions... Named the Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week Award 9/25.
AS A FRESHMAN (2023): Did not appear in a match for the Gaels during the 2023 season.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY’S: Plachy joins the Gaels this fall after spending four years at Oak Ridge High School…the El Dorado Hills native played three years on the varsity squad…as a goalkeeper, Plachy had a .333 goals against average…team awards included 2x Sectional Champs…1x Regional Champs…individual awards include Sierra All-League First Team.
