CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023): Battled through injury to appear in 20 contests as a stellar full rotation outside hitter…In just 75 sets, tallied 91 kills and 174 digs…Picked up a pair of double-doubles in home wins against Portland State and San Francisco…Earned WCC Defensive Player of the Week honors with 30 digs in wins against Pacific and San Francisco, including a career-high 17 in Stockton against the Tigers…Also picked up a career-best four aces at Pacific.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022): Appeared in 14 matches during her first season as a Gael, with time in 27 sets...used in a variety of spots over the floor, she recorded 14 kills, four aces, 30 digs, and two blocks...debuted for the Gaels in both matches against Boise State on August 26-27, and recorded three total kills with five digs and an assist...set a career-high in kills the next match with three against Sacramento State in the Gaels home opener on August 31...had her best match in WCC play against Gonzaga on November 17, when she posted two kills on six swings with six digs, which represented a season-best.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Graduate of Central Catholic High School in Modesto...racked up some impressive numbers during her first two years of high school play, totaling over 1,000 kills and over 900 digs, with 91 blocks and 97 aces...all of this led her to a pair of First Team All-League awards in the Valley Oak League, as well as being named the MVP of the Valley Oak League as a freshman...her last two seasons were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and by an injury, but the talent is there for the former MaxPreps Freshman All-American and CalHi Sports First Team All-State outside hitter to make an immediate impact.
Favorite volleyball memory: My favorite volleyball memory is earning an open bid with my club team at a qualifier my 18’s year.
Favorite holiday: My favorite holiday is Christmas because my family gets together to make tamales and open gifts. I also love getting in the holiday spirit by wearing ugly Christmas sweaters.
What do you love most about Saint Mary’s: I love how welcoming and supportive everyone is. The small college atmosphere helps make you feel important because of constant help from professor and seeing familiar faces in your classes.
Favorite thing about SMC Volleyball: My favorite thing about SMC Volleyball is that everyone on the team feels like family. Our team culture is incredibly strong and the girls made it so easy to get acclimated to life as a student athlete.
Favorite food or meal: I love sopa de fideo and dolma
Top-3 favorite songs: Normal Girl by SZA, All That Matters by Justin Bieber, and 16 by Baby Keem
Favorite Movies: Good Will Hunting, Glory Road, and Pride and Prejudice
Personal Hobbies: I love to bake, make special occasion cards, go bowling, and drive around listening to music with my sisters
One thing everyone should do in their lifetime: You should get good seats at a concert where your favorite artist is performing.
