Kidus Solomon enters his third season as Director of Women's Basketball Operations for Saint Mary's in the 2020-21 season and his sixth year with the program. His duties include video coordination as well as breakdown of analytics, social media content creator, details of team management, travel and logistics for SMC road trips, equipment manager, and scheduling the use of facilities for practices both at home and away. He is also in charge of practice players and the associated schedules.Â
Solomon graduated from Saint Mary's College in 2018 with a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Recreation and Sport Management. From May of 2015 until graduation, he served as a practice player for the women's basketball team before being hired as the Director of Operations.
Hailing from Oakland, Calif., Kidus graduated from Salesian High School in Richmond where he played basketball for the Pride.Â
