AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25): Burst onto the scene for the Gaels as a true freshman, serving as their sixth man, appearing in all 35 games…Averaged 8.2 points per contest, the highest scoring average of any reserve…Led the team with 58 three pointers made, 155 three pointers attempted, and a 37.4% three point clip…Began his collegiate career with four straight double-digit scoring performances, the first Gael to do so since Matthew Dellavedova, culminating with a 23 point, four steal performance (both career-highs) against Nebraska, earning him both WCC Freshman and Player of the Week honors, a feat not accomplished by a WCC student-athlete since Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren…Earned his second and third WCC Freshman of the Week awards in back-to-back weeks, averaging 13 points per game against Pepperdine and Portland in week two of conference play, and 13.5 points per contest against LMU and San Diego in week three of WCC action…Arguably his most memorable performance came on the road at Gonzaga, as he knocked down 5-7 three point attempts, scoring 18 points in 18 minutes to help the Gaels clinch their third consecutive WCC Regular Season Title against their biggest rival…Honored as the WCC’s Sixth Man of the Year, and was named to the conference’s All-Freshman team…His 287 points scored were the seventh most scored by a true freshman in the Randy Bennett Era of Saint Mary’s Men’s Basketball.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S:Â A four star recruit according to 247sports and the 83rd ranked player on the 2024 ESPN 100 coming out of Prolific Prep in Napa...Has shown an ability to play either point guard or shooting guard for one of the top prep programs in the country...Standing at 6-3, has proven to be a high volume scorer with a smooth jump shot and an strong defender with a keen ability to clog passing lanes and force turnovers...Played for the Oakland Soldiers of the Nike EYBL, where he averaged 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest, earning All-EYBL Second Team recognition in regular season competition...Spent his sophomore and junior seasons playing scholastically for Denver Prep...Rated the ninth best player in his class in California and the 65th ranked player in the country by 247sports...Chose Saint Mary's over Illinois, Ole Miss, Arizona State and Cal.
