AS A 5TH YEAR (2021): Started and played in all 18 matches ... 7 out of 10 shots were shots on goals ... 7 matches played 90 or more minutes ... 5th overall Gael with the most minutes played (1575)
AS A SENIOR (2020): Started and played in all 11 matches (season played during spring of 2021) … named a WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention for her strong work in the classroom … played 90 or more minutes in six matches … played at least 76 minutes in every contest … took two shots against Sacramento State in the season opener and had three total shots during the year.
AS A JUNIOR (2019): Started in all 19 matches for the Gaels … recorded the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Portland State … tallied an assist against UC Davis … posted 22 shots during the season … played a season-high 96 minutes versus Portland … logged over 1,300 minutes of action.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018): Made 17 starts in 19 appearances … took seven shots during the season … had a season-high of two shots on goal against UC Davis … played for 110 minutes against Loyola Marymount.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Made 16 starts in her first season and appeared in all 19 games … recorded her two goals of the season against Fordham in a 2-1 win … made her first career start against Sacramento State and recorded on shot in 47 minutes of action … tied for third on the team in points … took 11 total shots with nine coming on net.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: A graduate of Redlands East Valley, Gaitan offers tremendous success from her high school and club competition... Totaled 19 goals and seven assists in three seasons for her high school... Led squad to 2016 Citrus League Championship... An All First Team Citrus League selection in 2016 and Second Team in 2015... First Team All San Bernardino County... Also lettered in Track and Cross Country.
