Elise Agi joined the Saint Mary's Volleyball coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season. A recent graduate of Long Beach State. Agi finished out her playing career at The Beach after spending her first two years of competition at the University of Oregon. After appearing in 33 matches over her first two seasons for the Ducks, Agi transferred to Long Beach State to play for current Gael head Coach Tyler Hilderbrand, where she earned second team All-Big West honors with 352 kills, 36 aces and 206 digs. Agi led The Beach to the 2023 Big West Championship match that season, the first in which the Big West hosted a conference tournament. After missing the 2024 season, Agi returned even stronger in 2025, recording a career-best 370 kills, 298 digs and 64 blocks en route to earning her second All-Big West nod in as many years of competition. During her playing career, Agi spent time coaching for Pinnacle Athletic Club and Encore Volleyball club, and now embarks on her first role as a collegiate coach. Agi will serve both as an assistant coach for the Gaels, as well as their recruiting coordinator.
