Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2022): Mostly playing center field appeared in 45 games with 40 starts… did not commit an error on 106 opportunities… recorded 13 stolen bases as a part of the running game… also hit 4 home runs during his junior campaign to go along with a .352 on-base percentage… tallied a season-high 3 hits in Portland on May 15.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Transfer from Arizona State where he spent one season making 15 appearances … Outfielder and pitching prospect from Ironwood Ridge and made the varsity team as a junior, but missed time due to Tommy John Surgery after being called up to varsity mid-season as a sophomore in 2017 … Rebounded from the injury with a massive senior season, batting .456 on the year with 11 RBIs, 31 hits and 21 runs scored …  Reached base at a .563 clip for Ironwood Ridge as a senior, slugging .750 for a solid 1.313 OPS … Named a 2019 Southern Arizona All-Star by All Sports Tucson One of Prep Baseball Report's 2019 Grads on the Rise in the Overall Rankings, showing flashes as he comes back from injury Prep Baseball Report ranked Nager as the No. 5 overall prospect in Arizona and the top outfielder; Additionally ranked as the No. 229 prospect nationally and No. 44 outfielder by PBR; Perfect Game slotted him as the No. 323 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 67 outfield prospect in the country; The No. 9 overall prospect and the No. 2 outfield prospect in the state of Arizona according to PBR … Named one of the top-five uncommitted prospects at the Invite-Only 2019 Top Prospect Games.
