Fifth year senior Genevieve Bane helped lead Saint Mary's to their first unbeaten week of the season, and as such, has been named this week's Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week. Bane earned this honor twice last season, and now picks up the first honor of her senior season.

Just one week after surpassing 1000 kills for her career, Genevieve Bane had yet another memorable week, leading the Gaels to a pair of Ws over Pacific and Santa Clara. Bane finished second on the team with 15 kills and four blocks against Pacific, and followed that up with 14 kills and a career-high seven blocks against Santa Clara. Bane did all of this in a new position, moving from outside hitter to opposite, and in the new role, was extremely efficient hitting at 0.294.
