MORAGA, Calif. — The Gaels transfer portal grab continues ahead of the 2026 season, as Coach Tyler Hildebrand has inked his fifth transfer for the upcoming season with the addition of Antonie Kelnarova. Hailing from Prague, Kelnarova spent her first two collegiate seasons at Illinois-Chicago, and now takes her talents west to Moraga.
In her first two seasons of action, Kelnarova was a key piece to the Flames offense as a starting outside hitter. As a true freshman, the outside hitter ranked second on the team averaging 2.45 kills per set, helping lead her team to a 23-10 record and a trip to the Missouri Valley Conference Title game. With 51 kills, 25 digs and eight blocks in the Missouri Valley Tournament, Kelnarova was named to the MVC All-Tournament team. Her encore performance as a sophomore was even more impressive, as Kelnarova led the team averaging 2.97 kills per set, while ranking third on the team averaging 2.45 digs per set en route to second team All-MVC recognition. The Prague, Czechia native played for BK Selmy Brno and PVK Olymp Praha before beginning her collegiate career.
With her impressive resume, Kelnarova should immediately compete for a starting outside hitter role in Coach Tyler Hildebrand's system.
