Gaels Basketball Television Package Announced

Moraga, CA - Fans of Saint Mary's basketball will be able to catch two televised basketball games for the 2000-01 season. One men's and one women's basketball game will be televised by Bay TV, Channel 35, this season.
The first Saint Mary's basketball game that will be televised by Bay TV is the men's basketball game at the University of San Francisco on January 31, 2001. Tip-off for the game at the Hilltop is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. The televised women's basketball game will be on February 15, 2001 when the Gaels travel to the University of San Diego. Tip-off at the new Jenny Craig Pavilion is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Mike Shuman, from KGO-TV, Channel 7, will also air a story on basketball twins of the Bay area. The feature will include the Dosty twins from Saint Mary's College and the Collins twins of the Stanford men's basketball team. The piece is scheduled to air on Tuesday, December 19 during the sports segment of the 6:00 p.m. news telecast and should run at approximately 6:45 p.m.
