Moraga, CA (March 6) - Interim men's soccer head coach Kevin Arthur announced the signing of Ryan Souter (Fair Oaks, CA) to a letter of intent to play soccer for Saint Mary's next fall.

Souter, a three-year letter winner as a defender for Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, CA, was captain of his high school team in 1999 and 2000, and was selected First Team All-Capital League in 1999. Souter's club team, the San Juan Lightening, won the regional championship in the summer of 2000, and made it to the National Championship Final Four. The San Juan Lightening also won State Cup Championships in 1996, 1999, and 2000.

"I am looking forward to having a defender of this caliber attend Saint Mary's College," Arthur commented.
