Men's Tennis Falls to Washington 7-0

Moraga, CA - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team (6-12) suffered a 7-0 loss to the University of Washington Huskies on Wednesday afternoon from the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.
Playing against a solid Huskies team, the Gaels managed a victory in just one set in the entire match. Arturo Planell, playing at number-three singles, won the opening set of his match, 6-3, before dropping the second and third set 3-6 and 3-6. Filip Sarovic played a solid match against Christoph Palmanshofer, losing 5-7, 4-6.
Saint Mary's will return to action on Friday, March 29 when the Gaels host Claremont at 10:30 a.m. Later that day, SMC will square off against Sonoma State at 3:00 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.
