Moraga, CA- The Saint Mary's women's tennis team captured its fourth consecutive victory after sweeping Nevada 7-0. Saint Mary's won all the matches on the day and not one singles match saw three sets. With the win the Gaels improve to 6-9 on the season while the Wolf Pack dropped their eighth consecutive match.

In singles action, Saint Mary's freshman Aude Lambert earned her fourth straight victory at the #1 position by defeating Nevada's Myriam Bouchlaka 6-2, 6-3. At the #2 position, Kate Harden won her fifth straight match for the Gaels, blanking Kristen Davenport 6-0, 6-0. At the #3 position, Megan Schulman won her sixth match on the season, beating Finrella Velez 6-2, 6-3.

At the #4 position, Saint Mary's Kristen Kummer won her fifth match on the season by defeating Cherie Pettersson 6-1, 6-2. At the #5 position, Nicole Hunstock won her seventh match on the season by beating Christine Tilley 6-0, 6-2. At the #6 position, Anne-Joy de Graan beat Cailen Wachob 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles action the Gaels were able to win all three matches on the afternoon. At the #1 position the Saint Mary's duo of Lambert and Hunstock won their ninth match of the season by defeating Pettersson and Bouchlaka 8-3. At the #2 position the Gaels' tandem of Harden and Kummer earned their team leading tenth victory by beating Davenport and Velez 8-4. At the #3 position de Graan and Schulman combined to beat Nevada's Wachob and Tilley by a score of 8-4.

Saint Mary's (6-9) returns to action on Sunday, March 21 when it travels to the Fresno State campus to face the University of Oregon at 1:00 PM.
