TEMPE, Ariz. - For the second straight season the Saint Mary's women's tennis program was named an ITA All-Academic Team after earning a team GPA of 3.8. Their success in the classroom also earned them six ITA Scholar-Athlete selections including
Iman Khan,
Olivia Rook,
Sofia Daryaie,
Madison Weekley,
Juliette Daries and
Stefanie Silva. This is the second straight year the Gaels have earned six ITA Scholar-Athlete selections as they did so after the 2023-24 season.
On the court,
Olivia Rook and
Stefanie Silva were amongst the team's top performers as they finished the 2024-25 season with a combined 20-10 duals record.
Madison Weekley was also dominant in her singles matches as she finished the season with a 7-3 record including key dual victories down the stretch of the season over WCC opponent Santa Clara and WAC member Grand Canyon.
Saint Mary's finished the 2024-25 season with a bid to the UTR Sports NIT Championship where they finished 1-1 with a match victory over Northern Illinois to close out the season.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form
All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
