Thoughts on the game:
"Obviously you want to congratulate the West Coast Conference Champions, Gonzaga. They did a really good job, have some really good players, and they're led extremely well. When you have the best point guard in the nation it makes a huge difference. Congratulations to them. I hope that they will go deep in the NCAA Tournament and represent us well like they did last year."
Thoughts on his team:
"I thought we did a really good job at executing the game plan. We hung in there for a while and let them go on two little runs in the first half and that put us on our heels a little bit. Then we came out in the second half and they convert your mistakes into baskets so well. We made a few more mistakes in the second half. They got out and extended the lead pretty quick, but I'm very proud of our team."
Thoughts on what hurt them tonight:
"What really hurt us tonight was our shooting. We don't shoot 27%, haven't done it all year. The clock winds down, we're taking jump shots, they get the ball and they're off to the races. That was a major flaw in our game plan. We executed pretty good in the first half, but in the second half we took poor shots rather than getting into the paint and taking the easier shots."
Thoughts on postseason:
"I think our kids are pretty excited about being in the WNIT. We have an opportunity to get better. We got bounced last year when we hosted the game against Utah, but it's all about improving. Getting into the NIT, you want to win a game or two there and advance our program."
