At Saint Mary's: Incoming freshman with a low training base and a high potential for improvement.

2011 (Freshman): Best races of the season came at the USF Invitational (21:20) for 5K and SFSU's Gator Invitational (26:17) for 6K.

High School: Ran her high school career for Ventura High School while attending Foothill Technology High School...lettered three seasons in track & field and twice for cross country...came in second place at Channel League finals...earned her team's Senior Award...team captain for cross country her senior year...high school bests include 5:24 (1600m) and 18:31 (3 mile XC).

Personal: Born Madison Rose Thompson...undeclared major...loves animals and country music.
