MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's cross country team announced its 2013 schedule which begins on August 31st at Speedway Meadow in San Francisco.

We are pleased to announce a very competitive schedule for the upcoming season," said head coach Marty Kinsey. "Most of our meets will feature nationally ranked programs and individuals and will allow us to develop well as a team through the season. We are excited about conference championships being hosted in Malibu this year and look forward to the WCC preview meet early on."

The Gaels will have two meets before the WCC Championships Preview meet in Malibu on September 14th. The following two weekends, the Gaels will take part in the Stanford Invitational and Hornet Jamboree.

Since the NCAA West region meet is in a new location in Sacramento this year, we will also compete at the Hornet Invite which will serve as yet another preview meet," said Kinsey. "Once again the location of our university being in the Bay Area allows us to race in very competitive meets within driving distance, yet we will still be able to travel for a great student-athlete experience as well."

The WCC Championships take place on November 2nd with the NCAA West Regionals held in Sacramento on November 15th. The NCAA Championships are held in Terre Haute, Ind., hosted by Indiana State. They will be held on November 23rd.
