AS A JUNIOR (2017): Named to the all-West Coast Conference first team after landing among the conference's top-12 in four offensive categories ... Placed on the WCC All-Academic first team ... Consummate "Iron Man" started in center field and batted leadoff in 55 of 57 games, with his streak of 105 straight appearances (and 101 straight starts) ending on May 2 ... Prototypical leadoff man led Saint Mary's and was second in the WCC with 79 hits and 50 runs scored (fourth in WCC) ... Also had top SMC mark with 18 stolen bases (third in WCC) ... Batted .332 (11th in WCC) with three different hit streaks of 12, nine and 13 games ... His 13-game hit streak to end the regular season included 11 multi-hit games (including six straight at the end of the streak), 18 runs scored and six stolen bases. During the streak he batted .444 with eight RBIs and three doubles ... Hit his first career home run at CSUN on March 18, leading off the game with a solo shot in an eventual 10-0 win ... Only had one error for the third straight season, posting a career-best .994 fielding percentage.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Named a West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention ... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Bronze List for maintaining a GPA of 3.00 or higher ... Started all 58 games in center field for the Gaels … Ended the season with a .310 batting average, 25 RBIs and six doubles with team-highs in at-bats (239) and hits (74) ... Showed his defensive prowess in the outfield with just one error during the entire season for a .993 fielding percentage … Led the Gaels with 17 stolen bases out of 21 attempts with a season-high three coming in a win against Seattle on Feb. 20 … Played summer ball in 2016 for the Danville Dans in the Prospect League in Illinois and represented SMC as a starting outfielder on the West Division in the Prospect League All-Star Game.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Fleet-footed center fielder made an impact right away for the Gaels as one of the team's top defensive outfielders as well as a speedy option at the plate and on the basepaths ... Appeared in 44 games and started 23, hitting .218 with 19 hits, nine RBIs, nine runs and three doubles ... Finished third on the team in steals with nine and was only thrown out once ... Had three multi-hit games (Seattle, CSUN, San Diego) ... Committed just one error on his way to a .982 fielding percentage ... All 23 starts came in center field ... Named to WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Bronze list for maintaining a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Lettered three times in baseball and twice in football for Poway High in Poway, Calif. ... Had tremendous senior season, hitting .440 with a .504 on-base percentage, 55 hits, 11 extra-base hits, 12 steals, 13 RBI, 33 runs and a .987 fielding percentage in a season that yielded first team All-Palomar League and Team MVP honors ... Also enjoyed a strong sophomore campaign, hitting .325 with 12 steals and 13 RBI en route to earning Team Offensive MVP honors ... Played receiver and defensive back for the Poway football team, earning second team All-Palomar League honors at DB as a senior ... Plans to study Biology at Saint Mary's with the intention of eventually attending medical school.
