2015 (Freshman): Saw plenty of playing time in his first season as a Gael, appearing in 41 games and starting 30 as a true freshman ... hit .255 with 27 hits, 17 runs, 11 RBI and 22 walks en route to a .403 on-base percentage ... finished fourth on the team with seven stolen bases ... played all three outfield positions and made just one error to finish with a .986 fielding percentage ... enjoyed a tremendous series against Portland, going 6 for 10 with three walks, three steals and a hit by pitch ... had four multi-hit games including a 3 for 5 performance with three RBI against San Jose State on April 14 ... also drove in three runs on May 12 vs. UC Davis and also provided one of the highlights of the season when he stole home on a play that went on to be No. 1 on TheW.tv's Top Play Tuesday feature ... hit .291 in conference play (16 for 55) with a .443 on-base percentage in 20 games (15 starts) ... also established himself as one of the team's best bunters, tying with Anthony Villa for second on the team with nine sacrifice bunts ... named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Bronze list for carrying a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49.
High School: Two-sport star prepped at Willow Glen High in San Jose, Calif. ... lettered three times in baseball and twice in football for the Rams ... hit .443 with 15 RBI and 33 stolen bases as a senior, compiling a .570 on-base percentage en route to earning first team All-Mount Hamilton Division honors in the Blossom Valley Athletic League ... also named Senior of the Year, second team All-Central Coast Section and second team All-State for medium sized schools ... earned first team All-Mount Hamilton honors as a junior and sophomore as well, hitting .371 as a junior and .403 as a sophomore ... on the gridiron, earned the Junior of the Year award in the Mount Hamilton division for his work as Willow Glen's quarterback ... plans to study Business at Saint Mary's.
