AS A SENIOR (2016): Named a West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention ... Made nine appearances as a right handed relief pitcher playing in 15 innings … Saw a season-high 3.2 innings against San Francisco on Apr. 30 where he also threw a season-high four strikeouts … Over the season, totaled 12 strikeouts, six earned runs and two walks … Ended the season 0-1 but recorded an ERA of 3.60.
AS A JUNIOR (2015): Made an impact out of the bullpen in his first season as a Gael, finishing second on the team in appearances with 20 ... Compiled a 2-1 record and 5.84 ERA in 24.2 innings pitched, striking out 15 and walking 15 while allowing 28 hits ... Established himself immediately as a top setup option when he did not allow a run in his first five outings ... Earned first Division I win on March 14 against Pacific, pitching 1.1 innings of scoreless relief in an eventual 6-5 victory ... Had perhaps his best outing of the year against Nevada on May 4, entering in relief and working five innings to pick up his second win of the season ... Named to WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Bronze list for maintaining a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Prepped at Northgate High in Walnut Creek, Calif. before playing for two years at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Calif. ... At DVC, helped the Vikings reach the CCCAA Regionals in 2014, throwing 39 innings and compiling a 4.38 ERA to go with 30 strikeouts and three saves ... As a freshman, threw 35.1 innings with one save, 15 strikeouts and a 4.84 ERA ... At Northgate, earned All-Diablo Valley Athletic League honorable mention as a senior after compiling a 0.83 ERA, 37 strikeouts and four saves in 25.1 innings pitched ... Lettered in baseball twice at Northgate ... Plans to study communications at Saint Mary's.
