Shannon Mauldin has been named the Muscle Milk Saint Mary's Student-Athlete of the Week. Mauldin helped to lead the Gaels to wins over Brigham Young and San Diego last week.
With a previous career-high of 13 points, Maudlin topped the mark in both games, scoring a career-high 14 points and averaging 5.0 rebounds per game.
In the 75-70 win over BYU, Mauldin scored 14 points on 5-for-7 field-goals, including a highlight-reel lay-up between two BYU defenders.
In the 71-68 win over San Diego, Mauldin scored 14 points again, while adding a career-best seven rebounds.
Mauldin also had a pair of steals in each win.
