Cross Country: Competed in only one race for the Gaels … Finished 23rd in 23:39 at the Speedway Duals on Sep. 15.

AS A JUNIOR (2015-16)

Track: Competed in the 1,500m, 3,000m and 5,000m races in her Junior year … Recorded a season-best and personal record 4:41.74 in the 1,500m at the West Coast Last Chance Meet on May 13 … Finished in 17:59.61 at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge 5,000m on April 23 and improved her time to 17:52.12 at the West Coast Last Chance Meet 5,000m on May 13 for a personal record … In her lone 3,000m at the Aggie Open on March 11, finished in 10:24.04.

Cross Country: Raced in every race of the season for the Gaels … In her first race of the season, finished 35th in 19 minutes, 34.3 seconds at the 5 km San Francisco Invitational … Finished 12th in 23:05 at the 5.8 km San Francisco State Quad Meet … At the 5 km Capital Cross Challenge, finished with the best time of 18:29.2 in 45th place for a season record for this distance … Finished the 6 km Bronco Invitational in 70th in 21:52.6 for the third best Gael time and a season best for this distance … Grabbed the second-fastest Gael time at the 6 km West Coast Conference Championships, finishing 51st in 23:26.4 … In her final race of the season at the 6 km NCAA West Regionals, finished 150th overall in 22:54.9 for the second-fastest Gael time.

PERSONAL: Chhotu joined Saint Mary's for its strong academic programs and small class size … She wants to use her major to help community in some shape or form ... She also enjoys baking and can make a really good banana bread.
