LAX | Gaels Lose At Oregon; Home Opener On Tap

MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's lacrosse team hosts three games in seven days, including its home opener on Wednesday, March 4 when it hosts Detroit at 4:00 p.m. at SMC Recreation Field.
The Gaels began the 2015 campaign last week with two Mountain Pacific Sports Federation games at California and Oregon. After Wednesday's game against Detroit, the Gaels will host Michigan on Friday, then host Marquette on Tuesday, March 10th.
SMC last played Detroit on March 4th, 2012, as the Gaels defeated the Titans 11-10 in a thrilling game played on the San Diego State campus.
Saint Mary's last played Marquette on March 10, 2013 as the Gaels earned a 16-7 victory. In the win, seven different Gaels scored goals as SMC scored seven of the first eight goals of the game.
This past week the Gaels opened the year with losses at California and Oregon. Jaclyn Biggers scored three times in the 18-10 loss to the Golden Bears.
