Mauldin Named SMC Muscle Milk Athlete Of The Week

Shannon Mauldin has been named Saint Mary's Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week. The junior guard poured in a career-high 32 points in Friday's Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) overtime win over Hawaii.
Mauldin hit 10-of-20 field-goals in 37 minutes as the Gaels topped the Rainbow Wahine 92-88 in overtime in McKeon Pavilion. She also went 10-for-13 from the free-throw line and added six rebounds, three steals and two assists.
With the first-round WNIT victory, the Gaels have now won seven of their past 10 WNIT games over the past three seasons.
