MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's Athletics will celebrate #GivingTuesday, an international day of philanthropy tomorrow, on Tuesday, Nov. 27. #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year goodwill.
Gael programs have not only succeeded on the courts and fields in 2018, but have also continued the department's tradition of paying it forward this fall season. Men's basketball hosted a Special Olympics Northern California Clinic in McKeon Pavilion and the softball team hosted a free clinic for Lamorinda youth softball players. SMC men's and women's soccer both signed Team Impact athletes,
Quentin Rios (7 years old) and
Sunnidae Ross (12). Both Rios and Ross are bravely fighting brain tumors.
To join Saint Mary's Athletics' culture of philanthropy, please consider a gift to Gael Athletics on #GivingTuesday.
Last year, more than 500 donors generously invested in SMC on #GivingTuesday, and, together, we can make an even greater impact this year. Please join us by making a tax-deductible gift to the Galloping Gaels Fund or the
team fund of your choice. Gifts of all sizes, large and small, count toward breaking last year's record and allow us to make strategic financial decisions to best suit the needs of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs
The ongoing support from our donors, former student-athletes, family members and fans have laid the groundwork for Gael Athletics' continued success as we strive towards WCC Championships and to be the best mid-major in the West.
Thank you in advance for helping us make an even bigger impact on #GivingTuesday.
