MORAGA, Calif. – The accolades continued to pour in for Saint Mary's Volleyball on Tuesday as six Gaels received West Coast Conference All-Academic Team Honors.
 
All-Academic Team:
 
Lindsey Calvin – 3.88 GPA – English (Third-Consecutive WCC All-Academic Team Honor)
Calvin had the second-highest kills per set (2.67) on the team during the regular season, posted a .267 hitting percentage in 95 sets, 0.79 digs per set, and 0.71 blocks per set.
 
Sarah Chase – 3.96 GPA – Kinesiology: Health and Human Performance
Chase has collected 243 points (4th-most on the team), 192 kills (2.77 per set), and 200 digs (2.26 per set). She has also posted double-digit kills in 10 of her last 12 matches.
 
Lindsey Knudsen – 3.97 GPA – Economics (Third-Consecutive WCC All-Academic Team Honor)
Leads the team in both kills (310 – 2.84 per set) and digs (290 – 2.66 per set), has the second-most service aces on the team (33), and reached the 1,000 mark in both career kills and digs this season.
 
Honorable Mentions:
 
Emily Bible – 3.63 GPA – Communication
Bible is one of two players to play in every set this season (110). Serving as the primary libero, she has collected 277 digs (2.52 per set) and 25 service aces.
 
Jennifer "Boo" Laird – 3.68 GPA – Allied Health Science
Laird has played in 103 sets so far this season, collecting 183.5 points, 137 kills, 78 blocks (second-most on the team), and 38 digs
 
Sienna Young – 3.67 GPA – Business Administration
Young has played in all 28 matches this year (106 sets), collecting 240 kills (2.26 per set - third-most on the team) while amassing 162 digs and 38 blocks.
