Sophomore guard Logan Johnson will be eligible to compete immediately for the Gaels after transferring from Cincinnati over the summer.
MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's College Athletics announced today that men's basketball transfer guard Logan Johnson has received a waiver to play immediately this season by the NCAA.
Johnson played last year for the Cincinnati Bearcats. As a true freshman, the 6-2 guard appeared in 32 of the team's 35 contests while averaging 2.0 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Earlier this fall, Saint Mary's also received word from the NCAA that senior center Aaron Menzies was granted a sixth year of eligibility for the upcoming season.
